MELT

Pretraining at full temperature. Crucible keeps thousands of accelerators at heat for weeks, folding raw text, code, and telemetry into one glowing charge.

Checkpoints are castings. Every pour is stamped with its charge sheet — what went in, when, and at what heat — so a model's history reads like a mill record.

Alignment is a cooling schedule, not an afterthought. Behavior is tempered in staged passes while the weights are still workable, and we stop when the metal stops moving.

CRUCIBLE

Holds the melt. Scheduling, checkpointing, and failure hand-off for very long pretraining runs — the furnace keeps temperature even when hardware does not.

Base weights cast in three sizes, bench to bridge. A plain-spoken composition sheet ships in the crate: data mix, heat curve, known soft spots.

Rapid alignment passes that lock a model's behavior the way cold oil locks steel grain. Refusals, tone, and format set in one controlled dip.

SLAG REPORT

Everything the melt rejected, itemized. Failure cases, refusal misses, hallucination clusters — published as a running log, not a press release. The failure log is the product; read it before you buy anything else.

A foundry runs on procedure, not mood. These are ours.

Rule of the pour

Every pour is logged.

Weights travel with their charge sheet — data sources, heat curve, cooling schedule — from raw charge to shipped alloy. If the record is incomplete, the metal does not leave.

Rule of the alloy

No secret alloys.

If we cannot print the composition, we do not ship the metal. Model cards are written for the person holding the part, not the person selling it.

Rule of the floor

Cool before you ship.

Nothing leaves the floor still glowing. Evals run until the needle stops, then run again cold. A model that only performs warm is a casting flaw, not a feature.

What you will not find here: borrowed logos, invented praise, or a benchmark table tuned for the photograph. PYRACORE is young and says so. The floor speaks for itself — read the slag report.
